Free Cash Flow (SM.FCF) is defined as the Cash Flow from Operations less Capex (capex includes PP&E but also Intangibles and Software development costs). Historical figures are as reported, and future periods are based on IBES mean analyst consensus.
It can be represented as- “Cash from Operating Activities (SF.CF.CashFromOperatingActivities) – Capital Expenditures (SF.CF.CapitalExpenditures)”. In the absence of the standardized values, SM.FCF fallbacks to the Free cash Flow from Consensus Model.
