Getting Started with Plotter

Overview

First, click on the add series input field on the left

You can either select from the menu, or use autocomplete to more quickly find the desired field:

Now let’s enter the ticker AAPL and press Add Series:

After plotting that stock price, let’s plot Revenue growth. Start by selecting Revenue from the menu:

Now remove AAPL and add in three new tickers together. Then press Add Series.

Click on the Gear icon to the right of the series name to change formatting or add a child series:

Saving a Plotter

Click here to open your saved plotter:

Run simple operations with Hybrid Series

Hybrid series lets you perform simple math operations on a number of different data series.  In this example, we will average together four different data series.

Click on Hybrid Series and enter a simple expression — the one in the image below will simply take an average:

Plotter Templates

Templates allow you to quickly create new plots with similar formatting and types of data series.

Here we have a chart created in plotter. We changed the thickness of lines and made some formatting edits. To save this as a template, first click on the Save icon.

Click Save As Template

Now open a new plotter tab and click Template at the top right:

After selecting your template, just fill out this form to replicate the original chart for a new ticker.
