Watchlists can be created, edited, and shared in seconds. Different alerts can also be set for tickers you care about. You can configure alerts for the tickers present in your watchlists or you can enable alerts in My Alerts section independently of watchlists.
Using the Watchlist Manager
Select Watchlists, Alerts & Follow
The screen below is your watchlist manager:
The left side of the screen contains categories for:
- My Alerts: All the tickers with Alerts enabled will show up in the My Alerts page. Alerts can be configured independently of watchlists. Companies you have chosen to track but may not necessarily be part of any watchlists.
- My Watchlists: Watchlists that have been created by you. Additionally, a quick-add virtual watchlist “Followed Tickers” is automatically maintained and helps you track companies that may not necessarily be part of other fixed watchlists.
- Shared Watchlists: Watchlists that have been created by others and shared with you
- Sentieo Watchlists: Pre-loaded watchlists created by Sentieo to get you started
The middle of the screen shows your alert preferences.
Creating a New Watchlist
Click the Add a New Watchlist button located at the top left corner of your screen
Next, give this watchlist a title. You can add the appropriate tickers by typing them individually, or pasting a column of tickers from excel or any list of tickers separated by commas. You may also select your alert preferences at this point, but can always change them later.
Your new watchlist will now appear under the My Watchlists category:

Adding Tickers
To add tickers to an existing watchlist, select the watchlist from the My Watchlist category and press the + Add Ticker button:
Add the appropriate ticker(s), choose your alert preferences, and hit Save.
Bulk Edit
To edit multiple watchlist tickers at the same time, select the ☰ icon beside the watchlist name and select Bulk Edit.
From here, you can add and remove tickers:
Press Save to apply your changes.
Renaming a Watchlist
To rename a watchlist, select the ☰ icon beside the watchlist name and select Bulk Edit
Select the Title field and make changes to the watchlist’s name:
Press Save to apply your changes.
Sharing a Watchlist
To a share a watchlist with a teammate, select the ☰ icon beside the watchlist name and press the Share button:
Next, select the user(s) and or group(s) you would like to share this watchlist with:
Press Save to apply your changes.
Adding Stocks to a Watchlist from Doc Search
Follow a stock using ticker bubbles
To quickly follow a stock, you can click on any blue ticker bubble you come across throughout the platform:
Next, select the Follow button to start following this stock.
To make changes to your Alert Settings and to add this Ticker to your Watchlist or Sentieo created “Followed Tickers” watchlist, click on the blue button that now reads Following:
Unfollowing stocks
To remove multiple stocks from watchlist, go into the Watchlists, Alerts & Follows manager.
Hover your cursor over the ticker symbol that you wish to remove from watchlist, then click on the cross icon that appears. Nobody has to know that you’ve performed due diligence on FB.
To delete multiple stocks from watchlist and remove alerts, go into the Watchlists, Alerts & Follows manager.
Hover your cursor over the ticker symbol that you wish to remove from watchlist and disable alerts, then click on the cross icon that appears. Nobody has to know that you’ve performed due diligence on FB.
Using watchlists in News Stream
News Stream supports U.S., Canadian, and International tickers.
1) You can use a watchlist to keep track of your stocks’ latest news and price movements via the News Stream page.
2) The tickers that show up in this section will change depending on the active watchlist you have selected. This is a convenient way to monitor the individual names within a watchlist. Quotes are updated with BATS exchange real-time prices.
3) Sentieo will display relevant trending content in this section based on the active watchlist you have selected:
- Curated Tweets: See what key influencers on Twitter are saying about the selected tickers. Curated Tweets are a good way to stay on top of news and any insights shared by finance Twitter users.
- Articles: Our curated feed of articles allows you to follow the news concerning any stock as well as blog posts and writeups on a particular company.
- Company documents: See the latest documents available for the selected tickers. This includes SEC filings, transcripts, presentations, and press releases.
