Introducing Sentieo Vega

What is Vega?

We at Sentieo are committed to ensuring that every customer has a great experience using our platform. In doing so, over the past two years, we’ve identified unique pain points and areas of improvement in the existing design and workflow.

A Sentieo user currently has to know, for instance, exactly how to navigate our platform to find the specific feature that they are looking for. This can be difficult because we offer our users many different modules and menu options. (It is also because of this reason that many features do not always receive the amount of visibility and engagement they deserve.) And for every feature in the platform, users have to type in the same ticker yet again to view relevant information about a specific company.

It was with these challenges in mind that we created Sentieo Vega, a complete revamping of the Sentieo platform with a modernized design system and restructured layout. It improves discoverability, maximizes usage, and optimizes the workflow of existing datasets, modules, and features. It also utilizes upgraded technology to increase performance and scalability.

With Sentieo Vega, our current internal name for this initiative, we make the overall experience across the platform more seamless, the journey more contextual, and the design more consistent to reduce the time-to-value for every user.

How is Vega different from the current design?

Vega provides added value through 5 main areas: the Home Page, Autocomplete, Tabs, the Entity Page, and the Compose Note Icon.

  1. Home Page: The new home page takes advantage of available real estate to offer visibility and navigation immediately upon login.

  2. Autocomplete: The newly unified search experience and navigation paradigm combine existing functionalities to increase ease of access and reduce time-to-value.

  3. Tabs: The new tabs incorporate added functionalities to offer more flexibility and productivity in users’ workflows.

  4. Entity Page: The new results page for each ticker or watchlist compiles data from multiple modules to provide well-rounded information in a centralized location.

  5. Compose Note Icon: The new icon explores a new entry point for quick accessibility for creating a note.
