Missing note content

Web app

In the event that your note changes fail to sync and save with our servers, a copy of all changes made during your session is always saved to your browser on your local device.

To retrieve your changes locally, perform the following actions:

  1. Navigate to your Notebook
  2. Open the more menu (3 dots) located at the top right
  3.  Select “Local Versions”

  4. Any changes made to the note content on the local machine used at the time will appear here:

For additional assistance, please contact us via the support chat. It’s helpful to include the following information:

  • The name of the note title
  • The URL of the note

Please note that local device history is cleared once you log out of your account.

Mobile

When you add and edit notes on one device, Sentieo syncs changes to our servers and then to your other devices. If your notes aren’t syncing properly, follow the steps below:

  1. Put your mobile device in Airplane/Offline mode.
  2. Close out of the Sentieo app (double tap the Home button and swipe the app up to close).
  3. Turn off Airplane/Offline mode.
  4. Re-open the Sentieo app and select the impacted note.

Please do not uninstall the Sentieo app. Doing so will remove any history saved to your device.

If you still do not see the contents, try checking the Note History:
