Sentieo April 2022 Release Notes

April 13, 2022

One of the values we seek to provide Sentieo users is a better-integrated workflow as they seek to deliver high-quality research output.

This month’s release highlights include the release of Sentieo Connect, a new feature developed to better integrate users’ proprietary and 3rd party data onto the platform. We’ve also expanded the list of ticker types that we can support for watchlist uploads, helping you create watchlists faster. For new users, there’s an improved onboarding flow, with new screen designs to get them up and running faster now and enable a more customized experience working with Sentieo moving forward.

And finally, we’re giving existing users the opportunity to try out an open access beta environment (codename: Vega) for our new user interface experience.

Introducing Sentieo Connect

Sentieo Connect is a powerful new feature that allows you to upload and integrate your proprietary and 3rd party content, more effectively monitor your investment universe, and create more robust research outputs. This includes the ability to consume content like analyst-driven estimates, price targets, and other model outputs, as well as portfolio holdings driven out of portfolio accounting systems.

Once data is uploaded into Sentieo, it’s available for consumption across the platform’s toolset, including in popular functionalities like Dashboard, Plotter, and Screener, among others. To learn more about Sentieo Connect, check out the Support Center article here.

Expanded Ticker Type Support for Watchlist Imports

We’ve enabled our Watchlist Manager with support for a broader list of ticker types that can be supported in CSV uploads, including support for popular identifiers such as ISIN and CUSIPS, as well as identifiers off platforms such as Refinitiv. The ability to identify a broader group of tickers in upload files creates a more seamless path to building and using watchlists more quickly.

Improved Onboarding Screens

We’ve made enhancements to the onboarding screens that new users utilize when first starting on the platform. This allows them to get value from the platform quickly, including the ability to create an initial watchlist, while providing Sentieo with information to create a more personalized user experience over time.

Open Access Beta for New User Experience

Sentieo continues to look for ways to create better user interactions with the platform. As part of that effort, we’ve undertaken an initiative to improve the design and layout of the platform, with the goal of making the overall experience more seamless, the journey more contextual and the design more consistent.

You now have the opportunity to try out the new experience for yourself, and we would love to get your feedback.  We have opened up the beta environment (named Vega) to all users.

To learn more about Vega, including how to access the new experience, please see the introductory article in the Support Center here. If you’d like to dive right in and try Vega out now, and are already logged in to Sentieo, click here.
