Enabling you with improved access to the content you rely on and providing you tools to collaborate as you build quality research outputs is a continual focus for Sentieo.
This month’s release highlights include the expansion of our fixed income research with the addition of S&P Credit Markets research reports for mutual users. We’ve also made some changes to how you share notes and notify shared users about notes in the platform. And finally, for users who’ve been trying out the open-access beta environment (codename: Vega) for our new user interface experience, we’ve added shortcuts to help you access saved searches, dashboards, and plots faster.
S&P Credit Research Now Available
We continue to expand research coverage for our users who utilize credit research as part of their investment analysis. To that end, we’re excited to share our new partnership with S&P Credit Research.
Mutual users of Sentieo and S&P Credit Markets research reports can now access coverage on credit, regional or sector insights, and macroeconomic themes, among others, depending on user subscription entitlements. If you’d like to enable entitlement to your S&P Credit Markets content or to get more information about gaining access to content from S&P, contact your Customer Success representative.
Changes to Note Sharing and Notification UI
For those of you using our new Notebook experience, we’ve made some improvements to how you manage communications related to sharing and notifications related to your notes. First, we’ve created the ability for you to quickly add a message to recipients when you share a note in Notebook.
We’ve also made some changes to the sharing and notification workflow to better align with the way users work. Among these are:
- when sharing, the ability to see a list of users you’ve previously shared a document with
- moving the note permission drop-down toward the bottom of the share window
- when sharing and sending notifications around notes, search functionality has been added to help you find users/teams easily
Our goal with these changes is to help create a more intuitive experience when sharing notes. To learn more about these new features, please review the New Notebook Experience article here.
Expanded Accessibility in New UI Experience Beta (Vega)
We’ve been working through feedback from users in our open-access beta environment for our new user interface (codename: Vega).
New Search Command Shortcuts
As part of that feedback loop, we’ve had requests for the ability to access certain features from the main command line in the UI. To that end, we’ve added the ability to access saved searches, dashboards, and plots by entering specific commands in the ticker search fields. To access those elements, just type in the following:
- For Saved Searches: “DS/”
- For Dashboards: “DA/”
- For Saved Plots: “PL/”
Results will show up in the “Most Relevant” section. An example using dashboards is below:
Company Overview Tearsheets
Additionally, we’ve added the ability to create and print a PDF of the company overview page. This “tearsheet” functionality has been a frequent request in the past. You can access tearsheets from the entity page by clicking on the “Overview” tab. Once requested, they take approximately 2-3 minutes to create.
Please Note
Effective August 31, 2022, we will be retiring Instagram data from our Mosaic alternative data offering.
