We’ve updated Sentieo with a variety of small improvements and a couple of new features. As always, don’t hesitate to utilize Live Support for any questions, suggestions or feedback about Sentieo. You can view all previous release notes here.

Below are some of the highlights from this release:

Document Search Keyword Library

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Document Search Keyword Library. With it, you can search our ever growing library of over 500 unique pre-built search queries across various sectors and themes to enable you to find the most relevant data.

Say for example: You want to search for all the “Material Adverse Effect” clauses in merger documents within a specific Sector, or for all the announced spin-offs in the last 10 years.

Simply load up the Keyword Library, select the Risk Arbitrage theme and make your selection. Voila! The query is automatically built for you and the results are instantly shown. Want to stay on top of this search? You can also enable email and in-app notifications whenever a new mention of the sector or theme Keyword appears within Document Search results.

Shareholders data updated

We have advanced development of our shareholder data explorer. In our first version, you can lookup a symbol to access a list of every publicly disclosed shareholder (updated quarterly). You can also lookup an institutional holder to find the history of all its disclosed shareholdings (updated quarterly). Finally, you can find (for a US company) the history of its executive dealing (updated daily).

• Sentieo RMS (beta): We’ve made a few updates to our research dashboards, including the ability to create custom thesis fields, create a thesis from a Template and visualize your thesis field values over time. If you would like access to this feature, please contact success@sentieo.com.
• Export to PDF: Better overall formatting of documents exported from the Notebook.
• Snt.io Shortlinks: Shortlinks accessed on iOS apps now redirect to the Sentieo Notebook app.

Equity Data Terminal

New

• Shareholders (beta): You can now browse publically disclosed shareholders’ data for US listed companies. Search by institutional holder or by symbol to see all holdings or all public shareholders respectively (updated quarterly). Insider holdings and dealings is also available for companies (updated daily).

Improvements & Fixes

• Significant speed improvement across the board.
• Multiple bug fixes and UI polish.
• Added P/Book ratio to the financial model metrics.
• Added units to the tooltip legend in summary page graphs.
• Added REIT related metrics (FFO/share, P/FFO, AFFO/share, P/AFFO) to Screener.
• Added return metrics ROIC, ROA, ROE to Screener.
• Upgrade of the Screener UI (beta): we are in the process of rolling out a new version of the screener. More bug fixes and improvements are on the way. In the meantime, please give it a try and let us know your feedback.

Excel Plugin

• Aggregator formulas (min, max, cagr, etc..), and relative time periods (tf= ) are now enabled for currencies.
